Thivyah holds degrees in both Community Health Sciences from Brock University, and Health Management from York University. In addition to her schooling, she is also experienced in healthcare management, previously having held several managerial roles in a variety of health care settings. In her role, Thivyah will be working to oversee the daily operations of the clinic, whilst working closely with the administrative team, associates, and clinic director. Additionally, Thivyah will act as the primary liaison for the clinic, working to build and maintain strong relationships with community partners. Thivyah is further hoping to use her extensive experience in healthcare management to enhance the efficiency and quality of clinic initiatives, helping to improve client experiences, and achieve a high-quality delivery of healthcare services.
Thivyah is a second-generation Sri Lankan Canadian, who was born in Montreal, Quebec. She subsequently moved to Toronto, Ontario, where she has spent a majority of her life, and now raises her lively 2 year old daughter. Thivyah deeply enjoys traveling, as she appreciates learning about, and experiencing different cultures. Through her travels she has had the opportunity to meet and interact with individuals of various cultures, providing her with a passion towards advocating for greater respect, and acceptance of cultural differences.
