Krista Kent

Krista attended York University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sexuality Studies, minoring in Psychology and Sociology. Throughout her undergrad, she volunteered for KW Peer Help Line, Habitat for Humanity, and  ACCKWA: The AIDS Committee Of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo & Area, while holding a seat on the board for the Sexuality Studies Student Committee.

Her interest in academics led her to pursue a career in education & training and health and safety where she worked in a variety of industries, helping businesses improve their operational processes, procedures, and employee retention. Her passion towards merging her academic and professional achievements has led Krista to working in the field of healthcare administration. 

As the Intake Coordinator at the Toronto Psychology Clinic, Krista aims to provide clients with exceptional and appropriate access to mental health resources and support. 

Personal Background 

Krista is the first generation of her family to be born and raised in Toronto whose parents immigrated from Chile and Armenia. She has competed as a high level rugby athlete almost two decades where she has strong community ties and access to an outlet for healthy physical wellbeing.
