Dr. Marina Fodor, PhD, CPsych

Dr. Marina Fodor received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed her residency and post-doctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She is experienced with a variety of evidence-based interventions including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and uses an integrative approach to tailor treatment to meet individual needs. She specializes in helping clients improve emotion regulation and interpersonal communication skills, as well as treating mood, anxiety, substance use, and concurrent disorders. She is also passionate about improving overall health and well-being and has spearheaded the development of a lifestyle clinic at a primary care centre, as well as a new health and wellness group at CAMH. As a result, she has extensive experience working with individuals to manage stress, reduce burnout, address sleep difficulties, improve diet and exercise, and increase mindfulness.
