The Toronto Psychology Clinic is a private practice that provides culturally-informed mental health services to individuals and couples. Our clients are of socially diverse backgrounds. Our focus is on providing psychological assessment and interventions that integrate across well-validated methods of psychotherapy models (e.g., EFT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, family systems, social constructivist, contemporary psychodynamic).
We have a very collegial multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals with a wide range of knowledge, experience, and expertise. The Toronto Psychology Clinic is looking for highly motivated and talented volunteers to join our team.
The primary role of the volunteer will be to assist with mental health screens at the clinic in addition to other administrative work. A minimum commitment of 10 hours a week for 6 months is required. The volunteer work will be in-person at our main office at 123 Edward Street*
Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability during regular business hours on weekdays
- BIPOC folks and those who identify with a marginalized group are particularly encouraged to apply
- Completed minimum 2 years of college/university education in the field of psychology, social work, counseling or a related field
